Gail has been working at HTVC for 15 years. It has been a great job that is fast paced and always challenging. She has made lasting friendships throughout the years. Part of what makes her job special is getting to know the patients on a first name basis which gives a real family feel to the office. Gail enjoys spending time with her husband of 38 years, her two adult children and her two grandsons.
Edyta joined the HTVC family in January 2015. She brings eight years of optical experience with her. She graduated from Benedictine University with her Bachelors in Health Science. Her welcoming smile may greet you at the reception desk or in our eyewear area. Edyta enjoys spending her free time with her family and loved ones and catching up on some of her favorite TV shows.
Magda brings 5 years of experience as an Optometric Assistant to Homer Township Vision Center. She loves working with patients and getting to know them each time they come in. Magda graduated from Lewis University in May 2016 and hopes to be accepted into the School of Optometry to pursue her passion in helping others. She is bilingual which allows our Polish speaking patients to receive the best care available in their first language. Her free time is spent enjoying her family and friends. Traveling is another favorite activity.
Marcia joined HTVC in July 2017, bringing 6 years of optical experience. She loves the interaction with patients, as well as working with the staff. It brings such a family feel to the office, and we all enjoy that. Marcia enjoys spending time with her husband of 36 years, her 3 grown children, her 3 grandchildren and traveling.
Barb has been an employee of HTVC for 26 years. Her favorite part of working at HTVC are the people she works with - most of whom have been together for so long, they have become like family. She likes coming to work every day, seeing patients from year and year, and hearing what they have been doing for the past year. Barb's most memorable HTVC moment happened when a young boy picked up his glasses and saw the leaves for the first time. His expression and reaction were priceless. She loves to work out at the gym and spend time with her grandkids. Barb has been married for 43 years, has a son, daughter and 4 grandchildren, two of which live in Florida.
