Your Experience at Homer Vision
Here at Homer Township Vision Center, we want your visit to be pleasant in a professional but friendly setting. Here's just a few things you can expect during your experience with us. To help make your experience as efficient as possible you may want to fill out the Patient History Form prior to your visit.
We greet you and update your information.
After arriving for your appointment, you’ll be greeted by our friendly staff. You may be asked to fill out some basic information and provide insurance information if necessary.
We begin by updating your information into our database.
Next, we perform a vision screening.
You are then taken to our pre-testing room by a technician who will perform pre-exam procedures.
Our vision screenings consist of a glaucoma test, which measures the pressures of the eyes, and a visual field which checks your peripherial vision.
You'll see one of our expert doctors.
Once you are seated in the exam chair, the doctor will begin your comprehensive vision exam. This is where you will have ample opportunity to discuss your symtoms and visual needs with the doctor.
He will work with you to devise a treatment plan that suits your specific optical needs.
Lastly, we assist you in any of your glasses or contact lens purchases.
After your visit with the doctor, our opticians will assist you with glasses or contact lens purchases. We will introduce you to our dispensary where you will have a large selection of frames to choose from. Our opticians are well versed in the latest lens designs, materials and options available to you.
Once you and the optician decide on which lenses are best for your lifestyle, you will then be taken to the billing desk where you will be given your total bill for services and materials. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover as well as cash and checks.
